[That gets the opposite effect from the young man who instead pauses rigidly mid movement. Brows knitting as he mumbles something to himself and then straightens up.]

She hasn't had any nightmares lately... [He shakes his head with a breath.] Maybe she's not feeling well, I'll make her favorite tonight then.

[Maya lets out a warm smile. She's happy Riley settled down with Farkle. He takes care of her, and... That helps Maya sleep at night]

"Yeah, she has been sick a little while at mine, it's why I let her rest a while, she wanted some quiet time and a sleep."

[His frown increases as he slides past Maya to had to the kitchen.] She knows I'm not loud when I'm sleeping and I could have gone to another room. She's mad at me, isn't she?

[Maya holds her breath. "Oh you... Stupid Genius. She's worried she's going to ruin everything for the both of you. The only words that left her mouth about you were sickeningly fluffy..." She thinks it all to herself, because she can't say it. But there is one thing she can say, and it'll be truth. So she goes right ahead and does it.]

"No Farkle. Everything she said to me today, was her comments on what a fantastic Husband you are..." [she holds eye contact with him to confirm her honesty.] "She loves you with all her heart and... She just felt the need to speak to me..." [She raises her eyebrow up before pouting in pretend hurt]

"Unless you think there is just no need for me in any of your lives anymore. Maybe you think i'm..." [With a flick of her wand, she transfigures his cup into a tiny old fashioned wheel] " A Third wheel..." [She pouts again before it melts into a smile she can't hold back anymore. Come on. He had to think that was funny. Even if it was so bad, that it became funny...]

He fidgets, jaw moving as he glances back to the young woman. Somehow he can just see Riley gush or teasingly gush because that's what she does. Even when she had nothing more but a tiny memory to guide her. He flushes heatedly when Maya continues, darting his eyes away.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets he gives a small snort.]

No, I'm the real third wheel when you two are together. I recognize that I'm second best. [It's at least trying to be teasing.]

"Glad you accept that. It's not my fault she eloped with me"
[She pats him on the back in a playful way]
"So... I heard the words "Stay" and "Dinner" In the same sentence before. That sounds promising"

Technically we sort of eloped too.
But for different reasons and scenarios but OH WELL.]
If you show up at our house around food time you've always had a place. Seriously. Riley sets a place out and everything.

[Maya smiles. Her best friend setting a place out for her, just in case she shows up, brings her warmth.]

"She's such a good wife. I mean, I assume to you too." [She looks playfully]
"Whats for dinner Genius? I have been painting since morning and the only things that have reached my stomach are around three pints of Butterbeer"
[She knows as an adult she can have such drinks as firewhisky, but she's a child at heart and being drunk while working with moving paintings? No. Bad idea.]
