[ To say he wasn't expecting a message like this eventually wasn't a lie. He expects a lot of things knowing them, but it takes a bit for him to figure out how to respond. It's not something he knows how to, really, so it's a few minutes later he does respond. But it also feels like an eternity given he always readily answers them. ]

[ No sorries or anything like that, they won't make fighting with Maya any better to her. Even if it was a mild fight. And there's really no words that can make it better. But he knows sometimes she needs other people. And he'll look for even if she says no. ]

[ The nice thing about superspeed? Maybe he can't get from Bavan to Vandare super fast, but he can actually keep to a "few minutes" without looking like he ran a marathon. Not that he was too far away, but it's practically record time that he makes it to the garden. Even he shifts uneasily to scratch at the back of his neck for a moment before approaching her expectantly.

[When he arrives, she's just... tending to a plant, like she always does. It's not exactly an uncommon sight, especially now that the hotel itself is starting to find plants in increasingly odd places.

While slightly surprised that Farkle is the one that hugged her first, she falls into the hug pretty naturally and hugs him back.

It's worth noting that her skin is a slightly duller green than usual, too.]

[ He doesn't exactly linger unless she asks, but he does make note of it. He makes note of everything--- Farkle wouldn't be himself if he didn't. His brow furrowing as he takes the smallest step back. ]

[She sighs, remembering the compromise she made with Maya though.]

[Farkle chirps those words quickly, fingers going to fidget slightly with his sleeves. Blue eyes-- not red today, at least-- going to dart to looking at her and then fixating on the ground just as quickly when she speaks again. Forcing an exhale, Farkle shakes his head.]

That's the best either of us were going to get. But... It's better than before. Someone is with her. [He doesn't elaborate further, but he's sure Riley knows some after the farming incident.] If you can't, though, you don't have to... You know I will.

[ Maya and Riley have always been the two things he'd give and do anything for. ]

according to what i got from tikbalang he's the key
the rest of the group use him to translate old texts with spells and secrets for fighting monsters
taking him out of the picture won't make them lose what they already have but they shouldn't be able to get more

if we trust his word he's 16
the mask he wears glows green and is somewhat bird-like but it's no hardship to change masks
as far as i can tell he's not on the best of terms with the rest of the group
he's been barred from the network before and he's spent some time hiding with a monster as well
last i saw him he had a new weapon
a skeletal dog
if you find yourself confronting him don't let it touch you - it kills on contact

He's the one some of the others were talking about after the last Bloody Bones attack. Do you trust what he's said then? I definitely won't be on the lookout for someone who might kill me any time soon. No worries there. I think even if they take him out of the picture, he's probably created a dictionary or something so they wouldn't need him. If they don't have the best of terms then they're probably already looking for a way to do that.
